New artwork by calligrapher and illustrator Timothy R. Botts will be on display in the Museum gallery. The exhibit is a collection of more than thirty works of art inspired by well-known African-American spirituals. Botts says the pieces "celebrate the incredible gift of music that African Americans gave to the church and to the whole world." |
