Extend the Impact
The goal of the Palau Association's Next Generation Alliance® is to encourage and equip the new generation of evangelists. NGA plans and coordinates outreach initiatives throughout the world and invites its network of evangelists to take part. They are given the opportunity to learn from their peers and veterans in evangelism, as well as train the local community of believers in evangelism. At an Extend The Impact Conference, you will learn first-hand what a festival is and how to put one on, network with other like-minded evangelists, hear the heart of Luis Palau and make connections for future partnerships in ministry.

Save The Date…August 19-23, 2008. Extend The Impact Conference Portland, Oregon. The conference will be held at Cedar Mill Bible Church and will be a wonderful opportunity to network with NGA evangelists and attend the Portland Cityfest with Luis Palau.

NGA Evangelists Head Back to India

NGA will be helping to coordinate 9 evangelistic teams as they reach out to the people in the area of Vellore through service projects, trips to schools and orphanages, and special affinity events for pastors, women and youth. Please pray for these teams as they make their preparations, and pray for the people of India - that their hearts would be open when the teams head there in February.

There will be many satellite crusades throughout the country along with the final major festival with Mike Parker and Keith Cook in Vellore, India. They will be hosting a Women's Conference, Leadership Training Seminar with local pastors and church leaders, and a Youth Conference.

There are many needs across the nation of India. Pray for each of the evangelistic teams that they will go out with boldness and sensitivity of God. Pray for pastors and church leaders to be encouraged to take a greater stand for Christ. Pray for many to turn their hearts to God as The One True Way to Heaven.

Pray for the following evangelists and their team members as they travel abroad and minister in India: Keith Cook - On the Go Ministries; Andrew Friesen - World Gospel Explosion; Bill Thomas - Bill Thomas Evangelistic Association; Don Johnson - Don Johnson Ministries; Jeff Schwarzentraub - One Heartbeat Ministries; Martin Dejong- Martin Dejong Evangelistic Ministries; Michael Gray - Passion 4 People; Mike Parker - All Nations Ministries' PJ Meduri - PJ Meduri Ministries; Rob Welch - For His Glory Ministries.

The Impact World Tour, a ministry of Youth With a Mission (YWAM), presents the Gospel in 21st century ways using elements of the culture itself to deliver the message of Jesus. Using athletes, musicians, and dancers, the Impact World Tour has been able to present the Gospel message to over 2 million people in 1600 communities on 5 continents.
This past fall, we were given the opportunity to minister to over 165,000 people in the islands of Fiji. Preaching the Gospel in large and small cities alike, there were 17,474 decisions for Christ. Amongst those responding were many Indo-Fijians from other religious backgrounds, the largest unreached people group in the South Pacific!

Life's journey has huge mountains and long roads. We can inspire hope and courage through life's journey. Hope in a God that cares about us as individuals and a nation…helping us to conquer the mountain. Courage to go one more mile in spite of our wounds and challenges.

The Journey sponsored by Bob Mortimer Motivational Ministries will consist of cyclists crossing America from Puget Sound, Washington to New York City, New York. The journey will be used to inspire hope and courage. Passing through small to mid-size communities, the Mortimers will make ontinual contact with people who have Hope and Courage stories of their own and who need a dose of Hope and Courage for their journey ahead. Pray for Bob Mortimer and the Journey team members as they prepare, minister, and share hope and courage across their journey.

Keith and Joan Cook of On The Go Ministries/Keith Cook Team ministered in Pakistan December 3-10, 2007. The Pakistan Project was a Strategic Planning Mission for future work within the country and God truly blessed as Keith and Joan were able to host three Leadership Training Seminars and Evangelism Outreach Training Schools. They traveled throughout the country working with pastors, evangelists, and church leaders encouraging them and training them to further reach their nation for Christ behind closed doors.

Keith also had the opportunity to visit sites in preparation for a On The Go Festival in Pakistan this coming October. On The Go Ministries and the Keith Cook Team are looking for USA evangelists, pastors, and ministries to come be a part of this historic festival in October 2008. There are specific areas where you can minister with your own teams doing evangelism as well partner with the main festival.

While in Pakistan a film crew filmed Keith sharing the gospel. After the team had left the country we were able to air the programs during a very strategic time. This television program ran during the Butto slaying timeframe and God strategically used that to win many to Christ. The telephone counselors were very busy.

Planning a Festival brings its challenges and one of those is the Friday night High School Football game. We were disappointed that the High School did not move its football game away from Friday evening, but God's ways are higher than our ways. We ordered a Jumbotron in the event of an overflow crowd, and we placed it in the old High School Football field. We discovered later that night that a young man went to the football game that night so that he had an excuse not to go partying with his friends.

On the way home he walked by the old football field, and saw the Jumbotron and heard the music of the group "Diamond Rio", and walked in and sat down on the grass. He stayed and heard Steve Wingfield interview the group and preach a message of hope for today and encouragement for tomorrow. At the invitation, he walked to the base of the Jumbotron and there he met a counselor, and gave his life to the Lord. Because of the football game we did not want, and the jumbotron we really did not need, God orchestrated things so that this young man could respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and experience a changed life.

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan was the gathering place for the Institute of Emerging Itinerant Evangelists from Central Asia this past November. It was a wonderful time of community, teaching, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry.

Continue to pray for many of these evangelists in Central Asia. Pray for continued boldness and divine appointments as daily many of them live under direct persecution for their faith and stand for our Lord. God is moving in great and mighty ways within the lives of our evangelists and those to whom they are ministering to!
